The check-in process could confuse the unprepared!!! Accessing the bathrooms feels awkward when shared, and the lack of a bench for toiletries makes preparing a hassle!!! The hallways need better lighting at night for safety!!!

the whole self-check-in was so confusing, i almost didn’t get in, and the owner’s unwillingness to really assist was shocking. to add more frustration, I expected a complimentary gesture for all my troubles, but instead just got the bare minimum. i woudl ve been much happier if i had received some special treatment. i just couldn’t leave a good review.

Just a minor note – the bathroom being detached from the room felt slightly awkward at times, but it didn’t detract much from my stay. Overall, the charm of Gaspar and the delightful breakfast experience made this a memorable visit, and I would definitely return.

Gaspar, the host, is remarkably kind and knowledgeable about Lisbon, making the stay even better. Breakfast was homemade, delicious, and included fresh organic food.
